The Perpetual Motion Roadshow is an indie press tour circuit with monthly stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, New York, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Chicago. In
April, May and June, three crews of three people did rounds of the circuit.
In September, October and November, three more crews of lively indie
performers will hit the road, piling in a car in Toronto and touring
to seven cities in eight days. For this month's schedule, roll over
your city to find out the details, and click to see the handbill. If you missed this month, check here for October's tour. |

September will feature the bizarre and freakish punk rock zinester Jessica Disobedience from Chicago, the wrongway hip hopper More or Les from Toronto, and serializing novelist Dr. Wred Fright from Cleveland. Move your mouse over their names for
more info, and click to see their websites. Meesoo Lee, a video-zinester from Vancouver, has graciously provided some of his delightful short vids to be shown between the acts. |

Every
day on the road, the Roadshow crewmembers call and leave a message about
something that happened that day, and the Pay Phone Tour Diaries are posted below. You can also check
out the April, May or June
Diaries to hear about what happened on the previous
tours! Sept 17, 12:12am, More or Les from Toronto: "There was a whole bunch of people there, and they learned a lot. They learned about apples, about punks, about wrestlers..." |
There's a monthly e-mail that goes out with that month's performers, venues and times. Want on it? (You can unsubscribe real easy.)
